Head of Customer Growth

About the Role

Mobius Materials is seeking a Head of Customer Growth to drive net revenue growth by optimizing take rate, sell-through rate, and seller-to-buyer conversion. This role will lead pricing strategy, improve operational efficiency, and scale our customer operations to support 5x orders per week.

You’ll be joining us in our office in Shockoe Bottom in Richmond, Virginia. We’re fully in-person 3 days per week, but are flexible about working from home or remotely as needed.

This is a full-time, executive-level position with a competitive salary and equity package, depending on experience.

Key Outcomes

  • Net Revenue Growth: Increase monthly customer net revenue 5x by December.
  • Increase Take Rate: Achieve a 30% take rate by the end of the year through improved pricing strategies and value-added services.
  • Boost Sell-Through Rate: Improve sell-through to 30% within 12 months by increasing buyers for key SKUs, optimizing pricing, and expanding direct buys.
  • Scale Order Capacity: Expand the team’s ability to handle 5x orders per week by year-end.
  • Build & Lead a High-Performing Team of A-players.

About Mobius Materials

Mobius Materials is a fast-growing marketplace helping electronics manufacturers buy and sell chips safely, quickly, and at market prices. Forecasting the right number of chips to buy when manufacturing a hardware product is a hard problem. If you overbuy, you end up with excess inventory, and if you underbuy, you end up scrambling to find the parts you need. Mobius solves both of these problems by closing the loop: we help customers sell their excess components and quickly find stock when needed.
